TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The Hillsborouigh Medical Examiner says the autopsy of TV pitchman Billy Mays shows signs of heart disease, but no sign of head trauma. Dr. Vernard Adams says the 50-year-old had signs of hypertension -- high blood pressure -- and arteriosclerosis.

Investigators say Mays was pronounced dead Sunday morning after being found by his wife at home. There were no signs of a break-in, and investigators do not suspect foul play. Mays' wife, Deborah Mays, says the family doesn't expect to make any public statements and asked for privacy.

Mays was also featured on the reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which followed Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs.

970 WFLA's Todd Schnitt says he talked with Mays after hearing he'd been on a airline flight that had landing difficulties at Tampa International. Schnitt says Mays told him he was okay after the incident.
